To be proficient in standard cocktails, and quickly master house specialty cocktails.
To provide efficient, courteous service to Discovery's guests, as well as, servers & drink-runners via the service bar.
To be a leader for fellow crewmembers, helping where possible to deliver a level of service unlike any other in Ventura.
To constantly improve - never becoming complacement with the status quo.
To build relationships with Discovery's guests and provide an interactive experience where your knowledge and understanding of Discovery's products are displayed with every interaction you have with the guest.
To identify and never over-serve guests who may have had too much to drink and immediately request the service of our door greeters and supervisors.
To never drink on the job.
To assist cocktail server whenever possible.
To maintain par stock levels of beer, wine and liquor.
Perform scheduled cleaning duties.
To set up the bar with necessary glassware.
To maintain par stock of garnishes and other necessary items.
To attend all pre-meal and training sessions as scheduled.
To follow bartender checklist.
Restock bar according to checklists.
